Principal's Weekly Update

School is closed for February break, and students return on Monday, February 23rd.

As I prepare for maternity leave for the remainder of the semester, B. Gale Wilson will be supported by an itinerant Principal, Mr. James Hightower starting on March 2nd. Mr. Hightower will be on campus working alongside me during the last week of February to ensure a smooth transition. He will then continue supporting our school in collaboration with Assistant Principal Rockwell for the remainder of the school year.

Mr. Hightower was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and came to Fairfield, California through his service in the United States Air Force. He brings 22 years of experience in education, having served as a middle school math teacher, high school assistant principal, and high school principal. Since arriving in Fairfield, he has embedded himself in the community and continues to build and raise his family here. He looks forward to supporting and serving the B. Gale Wilson community in the coming months. He can be reached at JamesH@fsusd.org.

Tryouts have been underway. Teams will be announced soon and practices will start soon thereafter.

First game: Thu, March 12th vs. Crystal MS @ home

Students MUST have their school ID to enter all games - no exceptions. Only students from BGW and opposing team will be allowed entry.
