Looking ahead into April, our WHS Junior and Senior Prom will be April 4th!
Mark your calendars:
Event Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026
Location: The Roberts Centre Ballroom
Time: Dinner and Dancing from 7:00-10:00
Tickets will be available for purchase during lunch from March 16th through March 20th.
WHS Juniors and Seniors: $50
Underclassmen or dates from another school: $60
Please review the expectations below if your child plans to attend.
To remain eligible to attend this year’s Prom, students must meet the following criteria Monday, February 23rd through Friday, March 20th:
Attendance: No more than 2 unexcused absences and/or tardies.
Conduct: Zero Out-of-School Suspensions (OSS) or In-School Suspensions (ISI).
Our 11th graders will have the opportunity to take the ACT and 10th graders will take the PreACT on Tuesday, March 3rd. This is a rescheduled date from February.
The testing schedule for March 3rd will remain consistent, with students reporting to the same rooms and locations previously assigned. Please remember that a successful testing experience starts at home; we encourage all students to get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast on the morning of the test. Additionally, because the ACT is digital, please ensure your Chromebook is plugged in and fully charged the night before.
Below is some information to help students prepare for this test.
Our last parent conference night is March 19th from 4:00-6:00. During this time, we want to discuss current academic goals and progress, activity involvement, interests, and plans for after high school. We also want to give you the opportunity to provide us with your feedback and suggestions.
Please anticipate an invitation from a WHS staff member for a conference this year. We look forward to meeting with you on our campus and strengthening the partnerships between the school and home.
