Dear Little School Families,
March is flying by, and there is so much happening here at Little School! Students are enjoying enrichment opportunities, exciting field trips, and we are beginning to gear up for MCAS testing. Over the past few weeks, I have had the pleasure of visiting classrooms, and the growth I’ve seen in our students since September is truly remarkable. Together, we are fostering a love of learning, high achievement, and strong citizenship.
The snow is finally starting to melt, and I know everyone is looking forward to getting back on the playground! There are just a few updates below, including the April calendar and some reminders about drop-off. The PTO also has many exciting events coming up.
Finally, don’t forget that we will have a school-wide “Wear Teal” , Bracelets, and Pins Day on March 27th in honor of our former lab, Maya Ortiz.
Best,
Julie Fahey
Principal
🚨Arrival- Safety Concern 🚨
Please remember that there is no drop-off allowed on Oakland Road or after the main drop-off loop during morning arrival. All students should be dropped off within the designated loop area or along Barberry Rd. (before the drop off loop) to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families.
Thank you for helping us keep arrival safe and running smoothly for everyone!
Let's Keep Reading!
We are just over 18,000 minutes in our first two weeks of the reading challenge. We have a long way to go to our goal of 75,000 minutes! Be sure to keep reading and send in your logs. Let's tackle this TOGETHER and earn our school wide play day!

💕 Maya Ortiz Pins and Bracelets 💕
The PTO is still selling pins and bracelets
As some of you may be aware, Little School alumna Maya Ortiz passed away in February 2026 after a courageous battle with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. In her honor, The PTO will have teal pins and bracelets available for a minimum donation of $3 with all proceeds going to the Maya Ortiz Memorial Fund.
Fill out this form to order pins and bracelets and pay via Venmo to @Alison-Rosabianca or with cash sent into school. Bracelets and pins ordered via the form will be distributed to students at school.
We will then celebrate Maya's life by encouraging students and family alike to wear their teal pins, bracelets or another teal item of their choice on March 27th.
