GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
A Note from Mrs. Morris, Career Learning Principal
April is here, and it’s one of those months where everything starts coming together. The weather is warming up, the end of the school year is in sight, and our students are really beginning to show just how much they’ve learned and grown.
This month in CTE, our theme is Entrepreneurship. We're excited to see students tap into their creativity, think outside the box, and bring their innovative ideas to life. One of the biggest highlights is our Shark Tank presentations, where students will showcase their creativity, hard work, and problem-solving skills. It’s always exciting to see their ideas take shape and their confidence grow.
At the same time, April is also an important testing month, with WebXams and other state assessments underway. We know this time of year can feel busy, but students have been building these skills all year long. This is their chance to show what they know. A little preparation, good rest, and a positive mindset can go a long way.
As we head into the final stretch, it’s also a great time to check in on pathway completion. Staying on top of requirements now helps avoid stress later and keeps students on track for success.
Students, take a few minutes to make sure you’re on track:
LCs and students can review full pathway expectations here.
Testing Week Tips
These last few weeks will go quickly, but they’re full of opportunities to finish strong, show growth, and take pride in everything that’s been accomplished this year. I am very proud of our students and grateful for the support from our LCs along the way.
