Yearbook Design Contest Yearbook Design Contest

zoom_out_map

Do you want to design the yearbook cover?

What is it?

This year, our students have the opportunity to design the cover for the yearbook! The winner of this competition will have their art immortalized on the cover of the yearbook!

When?

The competition begins on October 4th. 2024. All submissions must be in by October 25, 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Requirements:

The cover must reflect the theme of the yearbook: Honoring Our History

This year, our yearbook will focus on the history of Turner Middle School. Click Here for information on the history of Lithia Springs! Click Here to learn about the Native Americans that once lived here. Here is a little bit about TMS:

In 1969 Turner Middle School opened on the land deeded to Douglas County. Indians

were chosen as the official mascot to recognize the history of Lithia Springs and to

convey the school's strength and pride and spirit. As recognition of Turner’s history, we

strive to give students the best education because they deserve it.

How will the winner be chosen?

Round 1: Each grade level will vote for the best submission for their grade during homeroom on Monday, October 28th.

Round 2: The winner from each grade will be submitted to the faculty and yearbook staff for a final vote. The winner will be announced and be featured on the 2024-2025 Yearbook!
