Upcoming Field Trip

We are planning our second field trip to the Sci-Tech Discovery Center on April 19th! The cost of this field trip will be $7 for the students and $7 if you plan on chaperoning. More information will be coming after spring break, but for now, we wanted to give you a heads up on the money!

Money will be due on March 31st.

First Grade Musical!

On March 23, at 5:50 we have our First Grade Music Program called "How to be a Pirate".

Please drop off your student at 5:30 in pirate attire, or a Rogers shirt. Since it is the Thursday following Spring Break, please practice with your students over the break. Here is a link to the google folder that has the audio files, lyric sheets, and music lyric videos for practice time. If you are going on a road trip, this is an amazing time to incorporate music practice. You can even download the mp3s from the folder onto your phone, ipad, or other device.

Here is the link to the folder with all of the information: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1DtNYJt3mtHtfMyElhEBxDa22sLYwcajz?usp=sharing

Thank you for your support!

Checking Out Students In The Front Office

Our front office is happy to assist parents in checking out students early when situations arise that require students to leave campus with a parent or guardian. Please note that unfortunately we are not able to pull students out of class to check them out until the parent is physically on campus and in the front office. We are unable to accommodate calls from parents or guardians driving to campus requesting that students be in the front office and "ready to go," as this creates minutes of lost learning. Thank you for understanding this district-wide procedure and we appreciate your patience. Please reach out to Principal Penny with any questions regarding this procedure.

Snack Donations

Your child is welcome to bring a snack to school each day! As a grade level we want to ensure that each child always has something to eat when they are hungry! Snack donations to your child's classroom are greatly appreciated. Please make sure that if your child is in the peanut free class that the snack you send does not have peanuts! Snacks do not just have to be in individual bags, anything is appreciated!
