Dive Into Learning!
The mission of Adelaide is to provide students a safe place to achieve their full potential as lifelong learners.
A Note From Administration
Dear Adelaide Families,
As we wrap up this unforgettable school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership. This year’s theme—“Dive Into Learning”—was more than just a slogan; it became a spirit that guided us through every challenge, and every celebration.
Our students dove headfirst into learning with enthusiasm and curiosity, and along the way, they made incredible memories that brought our school community closer than ever. From the Fun Run where we ran, laughed, and cheered each other on, to the epic moment when our students earned the reward of turning Mrs. Arbon into a human ice cream sundae (yes, sprinkles and all!)—this year was packed with joy and connection.
We danced through the hallways during our Halloween Parade, gathered in warmth and music at our Holiday Sing-Along, and shared heartfelt moments during HOPE week including our Heart Assembly, reminding us of the kindness and compassion our students carry every day. The school play brought our stage to life with talent and teamwork, the Literacy Night brought families together for engaging fun, and the Talent Show was a dazzling display of the creativity and courage our students possess.
All of these moments, big and small, were possible because of the strong partnership we share with you—our amazing families. Your involvement, whether through volunteering, attending events, or cheering your child on from the sidelines, has made a lasting impact on our school.
To our sixth graders: we are so proud of you. You’ve led with heart, energy, and determination, and we know you're ready to dive into jr. high school with confidence. You’ll always be part of our Adelaide family.
As we head into summer, we encourage all our students to continue diving into learning. Read often, stay curious, and take time to play and recharge. Most of all, enjoy every moment with your family—you’ve earned it!
Thank you for an incredible year. We can’t wait to welcome you back in August as we launch into a brand new adventure!
Here are three important things to remember this month:
- Any lost and found items will be donated so please ask your child to check one last time to see if any items might belong to them.
- Students will be checking in their student devices on the 20th of May. Parents will be notified of any damages incurred via e-mail on May 21st.
- End of year math and reading assessments will take place the weeks of May 5th and May 12th.
Every day is a great day to be a Tiger!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Arbon and Mrs. Dimas

Tiger "ROAR" Assembly K-3rd grade
The Tiger "ROAR" Assembly was a special celebration recognizing the hard work and dedication of both students and staff. Each teacher selected two students who demonstrated outstanding progress or performance in academics or citizenship and perfect attendance, honoring their efforts and positive impact on the school community. In addition to student recognition, teachers also nominated a colleague, 2nd grade teahcer, Melissa Bird who went above and beyond in supporting students and faculty. The assembly was filled with applause, encouragement from parents, and a sense of pride as students and staff were celebrated for their achievements, reinforcing the school’s commitment to excellence in becoming a High Reliability School.
