Reminder: Next Wednesday, November 26th is an early release (11:55 AM dismissal). Also, there is no school on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th.

Warm Clothing Accesories Drive

Can you help us help others in this season of giving?

For many years Boyden has been running a warm clothing drive to support VA Hospital in West Roxbury. We want to keep the tradition going again this year too.

What: New warm hats, scarves, mittens, gloves, socks, slippers or for men, women, and children

When: Monday, December 1st through Friday, December 12th

Donations can be dropped off in collection boxes at the Boyden School Office. Thank you for your generosity.

Outdoor Recess

This week we got our first taste of cold weather. As this becomes more regualr aroudn New England, this is a friendly reminder to have all students wear the appropriate outdoor winter clothing. As long as the temperatures allow, we will continue to have students go outside for recess. It is extremely important for students to wear boots, hats, mittens/gloves, and winter coats on cold winter days. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to provide these to students regularly.

Holiday Breakfast and Shoppe

Saturday, December 6th (8:00 AM –11:00 AM)

Bring the whole crew for breakfast treats, student shopping, and raffles—our 30+ year Boyden tradition!

Admission: $5/person or $25 family cap.
Pay on Future Fund (QR on flyer) or cash at the door. Venmo not accepted.

Where to go
• Cafeteria: Breakfast + raffle baskets on display
• Gym: Student Shoppe (kids buy gifts for loved ones)

Shoppe (cash only): Fill gift tags outside the gym, hand your child tags + cash, and we’ll help them shop and wrap. Pro tip: bring small bills.
Raffle (cash only): Tickets sold on site. Put student name & teacher on each ticket and choose your baskets! Prizes include Walpole Police ride to school Walk with K-9 Rebel Providence Bruins autographed memorabilia Principal for the Day Teacher baskets …and more!

Please note: After careful discussion and deliberation, each child may win up to two baskets to give other children a chance. We know this is a change from previous years and appreciate your understanding. This limit does not include the Providence Bruins raffle.
