End of Term Arrangements – INSET Days (Monday 21st & Tuesday 22nd July)
The week commencing the 23rd June, all students in years 7-9 will be sitting Grade Indicator Exams. The purpose of these exams is to measure the progress your child has made since the start of their course and the results of these exams will be used to support your child next academic year to ensure they make as much progress as possible.
I am writing to inform you of an important update to our end-of-term arrangements.
As part of our preparations for the implementation of a new management information system, BromCom, the final two days of term – Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd July 2025 – will now be designated as INSET days. These days will be used for staff training to ensure a smooth and effective start to the new academic year.
Please take note of the following key points:
• Students will not be in school on Monday 21st or Tuesday 22nd July 2025.
• The last day of term for students will be Friday 18th July 2025. On this day, students will be dismissed in a staggered manner from 12:00pm. Full details of the dismissal arrangements will be shared with you in due course.
We understand that this change may impact your childcare arrangements. If this presents any difficulties, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via email at info@bishop.towerhamlets.sch.uk or by calling the School Main Office on 0207 791 9500. We will do our best to support you where possible.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we take this important step forward. The transition to BromCom will significantly improve how we manage school communications, track student data, and streamline operations from September onwards.
Yours in Service,
Mr A Hall
Executive Headteacher
