Dine & Donate - Thank you:
The numbers are in! Thank you to all our amazing families and the community for your participation in our Borough Bagels Dine & Donate event on April 18th.
We raised $2,150.54 to help support all of the amazing activities, clubs and events that we put on throughout the year.
Yoga Club - Thank you:
We wrapped up our last session of Yoga Club last week and the kids had an amazing time! Our Gayman Yogis learned so many things over the four weeks of the club. They used meditations to learn self-control, mindfulness and how to slowly move through the experience using all their senses. They also learned how to help connect breath with body awareness by pausing and noticing. The pause helps them learn how to calm their bodies and make thoughtful choices instead of quick reactionsβskills they can use when they feel frustrated, excited, or overwhelmed. They also kept journals, created a kindness chain and worked on connecting their strong with their calm. Huge thank you to Jess Winn for being an amazing instructor for our young Yogis.
