Come join us for our Third Annual FMS Trivia Night! It promises to be a fun evening and all proceeds go to support activities at FMS such as field trips, student conferences, and other fun school initiatives. We need to have a minimum number of teams to hold this event so please sign up no later than Monday, November 2 so we can plan!

Players in 6th grade and above are welcome. Here is the form to sign up:

Trivia Night Registration

We are excited to announce that the entire middle school will be able to attend a tour at SVSU as well as a Men's Basketball game on Friday, November 20, 2026. The cost of this trip will be $3.18 for the ticket and an additional $5 due in the FMS office.

There will be concessions available at the game for students who are interested in purchasing those as well but students should expect that the lines will be long. When parents register their student they will have the option to purchase vouchers along with their game ticket. A concession menu is located below so parents know how much the students might need in vouchers. They will also be accepting card payments the day of the event if parents feel comfortable sending that form of payment with their kids instead of purchasing vouchers ahead of time.

Students who would like their free school lunch on this date may chose that when filling out the permission slip.

We need permission form filled out and the registration form with fees paid to FMS and SVSU at the links above by Friday, November 6, 2026 in order to plan for the event. If you have any questions or have financial concerns, please contact Mrs. Thunberg or Mrs. Glazier.

Parents can now observe their students in Canvas after completing a few steps. Here is some information regarding this process.

A pairing code is needed for any parent/caregiver to create an Observer Account for their child. You can have your child generate a code for you utilizing the directions below. To log into Canvas please follow the directions outlined in the links below.

If you are still having issues getting connected to your student's account, we will be able to assist you at Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, November 14.
