A Note from the Principal

Forest Hills Families,

We are almost to the finish line! What a year we've had, and I can't believe it's almost over! The month of May holds many exciting events on our campus, and we look forward to welcoming you to many of these events!

Also, please remember to register your child for the 2022-2023 school year....all current students must register for next year. The deadline for registering current students is May 27, 2022. As always, if I can be of assistance to you, please contact me or stop by the office!

May Virtue - Fortitude

Fortitude is a great virtue to end the school year learning about! The month of May can often times be tiring and challenging as students have worked hard all year and are ready for summer break. Some words that come to mind when thinking about fortitude include: courage, resilience, patience, perseverance, endurance, and self-confidence. Our students have run a long and hard "race" this year during a time of a global pandemic. Encourage your child to finish the year strong by having fortitude! Here are some talking points for home:

How can you exemplify fortitude during the last month of school?
How can you encourage your classmates to have fortitude?
Do adults ever have to use fortitude? Can you think of an example?

FHES Cafeteria Guidelines

Only those listed on a student's pickup list may eat lunch with the student.
If you are not listed on the pickup list in PowerSchool, you will not be allowed into the school building.
All guests must sign in at the front office.
Please eat at the round tables in the cafeteria or picnic tables outside the cafeteria.
