HEALTH ROOM INFORMATION
Health Update: Please keep students home for fever or vomiting/diarrhea, encourage hand washing, cover coughs, and clean high-touch surfaces. Thanks for helping us keep our classrooms healthy!
- Students should stay home when ill—with any respiratory symptoms, including fever, chills, cough, sore throat, vomiting, etc.
- Once fever-free for 24 hours without medication and starting to feel better, individuals may safely return to school per Washington State Department of Health

REPORTING ABSENCES
If your student will be absent for the day, please call the attendance office at 253-800-3092. You may also submit any absences via ParentVUE. You will receive an automated robocall at 12:15pm, if you haven't notified us of the absence for the day.
If your child will be absent for more than 3 consecutive days, you must submit a pre-authorized absence form to the attendance clerk- jmayes@bethelsd.org
FREE MEALS AT OUR SCHOOLS DEPENDS ON YOU
ALL Bethel School District families must complete the Child Nutrition Eligibility and Education Benefit Application this year. Completing this form also ensures that your student’s school will continue to receive the full amount of federal and state funding available. FALL FUNDRAISER
Coming Soon: Cherrydale Fall Fundraiser!
Our PTA fall fundraiser runs October 12–26! Shop a variety of snacks, treats, gifts, and more while supporting our school.
Watch for a large envelope coming home with your student containing catalogs, ShopFund ordering instructions, and fundraiser details. Orders can be shipped directly to your home or to the school.

CANDY DONATIONS
Candy Donations for Harvest Festival!
Starting October 1, we’ll be collecting candy donations for hallway trick-or-treating at our Harvest Festival! Drop your donations in the designated pumpkin bin during student drop-off or pick-up, or bring them to the school office.
