We believe in the power of community and the difference we can make when we unite for a common purpose. Supporting the United Way allows us to extend our impact beyond the classroom and directly support families here in Tuscaloosa .
Every dollar contributed helps fund programs that provide:
-
School readiness and literacy support for children
-
Resources for families in crisis
-
Health and wellness services that strengthen our community
-
Opportunities that ensure every child has a chance to thrive
When we give to United Way, we are not simply donating—we are investing in brighter futures for our students, their families, and our neighbors.
Together, we can create lasting change. No gift is too small, because every contribution brings hope and opportunity.
Join MLK Elementary in our United Way Drive, and let us demonstrate the power of a school family working together for the greater good.
Attendance
🌟 Every Day Counts at MLK Elementary! 🌟
At MLK Elementary, we know that strong attendance builds strong learners. When students are present each day, they stay connected with their teachers, classmates, and the learning that helps them grow. Missing just a few days can add up and make it harder to keep up in class. Together, let’s make attendance a top priority so every child has the chance to succeed.
Remember: Every student. Every day. Ready to learn!
Safe Schools
🛡️ Safety First at MLK Elementary! 🛡️
At MLK Elementary, the safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. We are committed to maintaining a secure learning environment where every child feels protected and supported. By working together—families, staff, and community—we ensure that our school remains a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive each day.
Safe schools build strong futures!
