Varsity Victory: The MoHi Varsity team rolled to a thrilling 35-19 victory against the Centaurus Warriors last Friday night! After a strong 14-point first quarter, our Coyotes faced a fierce Centaurus comeback, with the score tightening to 21-19 by the end of the third. But true to form, our team rallied spectacularly, scoring two more touchdowns to clinch the win!

JV/C Team Tenacity: Not to be outdone, our JV and C teams showed their grit in a combined game on Saturday, securing a hard-fought 16-0 victory.

Fairview Face-off: The excitement continues as our teams gear up to face the highly-ranked Fairview Knights this coming week. This matchup promises to be an electrifying test of skill and strategy across all levels of our program.

The volleyball team won at all levels at home against Thomas Jefferson on Sept 9, improving the Varsity team’s record to 4-1 while the JV team remains undefeated at 5-0. Anya Prater (11) led the Varsity attack with 8 kills, while Ali Towns (10) added 6 kills. Middle Blockers Bella Groelz (12), Josie Price (12) and Sophia Stack (12) created a formidable front wall, blocking 10 of the Spartans’ attacks.

The Coyotes hit the road on Tuesday, September 17 for a match up against Holy Family. They return home on Thursday, September 19 for a conference match-up against the Erie Tigers. Please come out to support them! The Varsity game starts at 6:30 p.m.

The MOHI Gold team picked up a victory over Ralston Valley on Thursday night with goals from Charlie Broome, Jarren Ng(2), Arno Bergstrom, Luke Taylor and Zach Sanner. Goalie Josh Ringoen faced 24 shots on the evening in picking up the victory.

On Saturday MOHI Gold dropped a tough game to Valor, 5-1 with Armo Bergstom picking up the lone goal. On Saturday 9/21 they will play at Regis and then a home matchup at the Sports Stable on Sunday versus the Eagles.

The MOHI Black team play next week at Foothills on Saturday 9/21 at 3:30 and Sunday 9/22 at Vail.

This is not CHSAA hockey, but Fall hockey. CHSAA hockey will begin in the Winter. However, our Yotes are still out here doing great things and we love to celebrate good things!

Come support the Monarch Marching Band, this Saturday, September 21st, as they host 25 bands from across the front range at the Monarch Marching Band Festival. The event takes place at Centaurus High School from 1-8 pm.

This event is both an incredible showcase of student talent and a big fundraiser for the band.

Hey there! I'm Tony Tolbert, a Monarch veteran-been here 23 years out of the 26 we've been rockin'! I've been leading Student Council and Black Student Union for almost two decades now. Guess what? I'm also kick-starting a Breakin' club this year!

Head to Mr. Tolbert's room, B123, Wednesdays after 9:30 am to get the lowdown on Monarch's brand-new Breakin' club. Everyone's welcome, so come check it out!

From Aviation Club to Choir to Soccer, we've got ALL students covered. With over 85% of Monarch students engaged in after-school activities, we're here to fan the flames of every student's passion. Whether your student is hitting high notes in the choir, coding the next big app, or scoring goals on the field, we're here to cheer them on and provide the support they need to excel.

In essence, we're the wind beneath the wings of Monarch's diverse and talented student body. Our goal? To ensure that every student has the resources and support they need to pursue their interests, develop their skills, and shine bright in their chosen activities.

What Do We Do?

1. Bridge the Budget Gap: We're the financial superheroes for Monarch's clubs and activities! Last year, we granted over $36,000 to fill the space between budgets and actual needs. Think essential gear like tents/radios for the Mountain Bike Club, cutting-edge cameras for our budding journalists in Newspaper Club, and even pole vaults for our high-flying Track stars. When school budgets fall short, we leap into action!
   
2. Shower Seniors with Scholarships: $10,000 in scholarships last year – that's 10 lucky seniors getting a $1,000 boost!
3. Host Epic Tailgates: Buy a t-shirt, and you're in for a year of food, fun, and fantastic company!
4. Run 'The Cave': Your one-stop shop for Monarch spirit wear and game-day snacks.
5. Shout Student Success: We're the proud parent voice in newsletters and social media, celebrating every achievement.
6. Throw the Bash of the Year: Our annual Booster Bash is the talk of the town – cocktails, dinner, dancing, and auctions galore!
