Grandview Elementary
Parent/ Family Update - August 1, 2025

December 5, 2025
From the Principal:
Dear Grandview Families,
As we head into a busy and exciting stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to acknowledge how much we appreciate our Grandview families. Your encouragement, communication, and partnership make an incredible difference for our students each day, and we are truly grateful to walk alongside you.
Next week, students will begin their Winter Benchmark assessments. These assessments give us valuable information about each child’s growth and help guide our instruction for the months ahead. Quarter 2 will officially end on December 19th, and report cards and assessment reports will be sent home on January 8th.
We are also looking forward to celebrating together at Grandview’s Holiday Program on December 15th. It will be a joy to welcome our families into the brand-new gym—our students can’t wait to show off their new space!
Thank you for all you do to support Grandview. We are grateful for you!
With appreciation,
Dr. Susan Short

Holiday Shop Coming December 8–12!
We’re excited to share that our annual Holiday Shop will be open at school December 8th–12th! Students will have the opportunity to browse and select a special gift for someone they care about. This fun event not only brings holiday cheer, but also helps children practice important skills like budgeting, planning, and making independent decisions.
We look forward to a wonderful week of holiday shopping!
