East End Parent Newsletter

Thank You, East End!

Thank you for a wonderful first week of school! Our students have been excited to meet their teachers, reconnect with friends, and make new ones. Throughout the week, they have been learning classroom routines and schoolwide procedures that will help keep everyone safe, organized, and ready to learn.

Most importantly, our classrooms are already filled with learning, laughter, and excitement for the year ahead. We are so proud of the way our students have started the school year and grateful to our families for your support in making the first week such a success. We’re looking forward to a great year at East End!

Back to School Book Bag Giveaway!

i-Ready Testing Begins Tuesday, September 8

Starting Tuesday, September 8, students in Grades 1–4 will begin their i-Ready Assessments in reading and math. These assessments are not graded; instead, they help teachers understand each child’s strengths and areas for growth so we can provide the right support and challenge throughout the year.

To help your child do their best:

Make sure they get a good night’s sleep.
Arrive on time and well-rested.
Offer encouragement—remind them to take their time and try their best.

Thank you for partnering with us to support student success!
