The Adair Warriors captured the 2025 OSSAA Class 2A-II State Football Championship, defeating the Vian Wolverines 34–29 in a thrilling title game. With the win, Adair not only claimed the second state championship in school history, but also completed the first undefeated season ever for a Warriors football team.

Mrs. Bradbury’s annual gingerbread project and competition was in full swing this week with her 8th grade students. Each team put in tremendous effort and showcased impressive creativity in their designs. Great job to all the students for another fun and successful project!

Mrs. Sanders’ 5th grade students wrapped up their ecosystem unit by dissecting owl pellets. Students carefully pulled the pellets apart to discover and examine the bones inside. Using a bone identification chart, they determined which animals the bones belonged to and learned what the owl had eaten. This hands-on activity brought their study of ecosystems to life and made learning both engaging and memorable.

What an amazing (and fast!) week it was. I didn’t get many pictures this week, but here’s a look at some of the delicious food we served and the beautiful fruit pizza we prepared for the football dinner Thursday night.

As we look ahead to the last week of school, we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a blessed 2026.
