Good Afternoon Woodbury Middle School,
We’re down to our last full week of school with plenty of activity. Friday night, we had an incredible 8th-grade dance. The students in attendance danced and sang from the moment they arrived until the last song. Thank you to our great staff who attended so this night could be possible—a special thank you to Mr. Joel Pietrorazio, who does a great job as our DJ.
The second half of our 8th grade will visit the Norwalk Maritime tomorrow, and all of the 8th grade will visit Holliday Hill for their class picnic. The seventh grade will visit Lake Compounce on Friday.
The eighth-grade graduation celebration will be Tuesday, June 20th, at 6:00 in the front circle of the school. Rehearsal will be on Friday, Monday, and Tuesday mornings. Students will be given three tickets for reserved seating. Family members without a ticket are welcome to sit behind the reserved seating. Please remember to bring a chair for the non-reserved seats. If we need to have graduation indoors, the three tickets will be honored for indoor seating.
There will be no admittance without a ticket. Let’s hope for a dry evening so we can be outside.
If you ordered graduation signs, please pick them up in the main office between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
There will be a short parent information night this evening for parents of incoming 6th-grade students at 6:00 in the gym.
