Parent/teacher conferences

It has come to my attention that my previous smores may have neglected to include the link for parent/teacher conferences. For this, I apologize. We have had the communication and link posted on our website for some time now, but I acknowledge that some don't check the news portion of the website regularly. Please see the link for conferences here and accept my sincere apology.

Conferences will take place on 12/2 from 6:30-8:30pm and 12/7 from 4:30-6:30pm

New building update

Here is a link to a website that gives frequent updates and upcoming meeting notices about our new building project. I plan to begin regular updates about the new building in upcoming newsletters.

Youth Risk behavior Survey

The Massachusetts Youth Health Survey-Youth Risk Behavior Survey will be conducted during selected classes on Wednesday, December 8th. Parents/guardians will receive a permission form two weeks prior to the administration of the survey.

The Massachusetts Departments of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and Public Health (DPH) will use the MYHS and MYRBS results to (1) determine the extent to which adolescents practice health-risk behaviors; (2) monitor how priority health-risk behaviors among high school students increase, decrease, or remain the same over time; (3) evaluate the impact of state and local efforts to reduce high-risk behaviors; (4) develop and redesign comprehensive health education programs and other strategies to help reduce risk behaviors (5) monitor progress of intensive projects in select districts and communities.
