Seeking Volunteers for Leadership roles
We are planning for the 2025-26 school year and are seeking volunteers for upcoming vacant positions. There are opportunities for all interests and schedules: from behind-the-scenes tasks requiring minimal time, such as social media management, to roles for the social butterflies to assist with PTA party planning and fundraising. We are also looking for a new Treasurer to join our team. Please contact president@crestedbuttepta.org for any questions and we can help find the perfect role for you!
PTA Volunteer Appreciation Lunch
Please join us for the PTA Volunteer Appreciation Lunch. We'd like to thank you for supporting the students, teachers, staff, and families of the Crested Butte Community School, and we'd like to treat you all to a meal to let you know how important your help is to us and to the school. We also look forward to this informal setting for general feedback and ideas for next year! This event is open to anyone who volunteers for our CBCS children in any capacity.
Please join us at the Secret Stash on Wednesday, Feb. 12th at 11:30am. Lunch is free (or donation optional) and we would love to see you there! Logistics
Student Pick-Up During the School Day
In an effort to alleviate disruptions to classroom learning, if you need to pick up your child during the school day, please do your best to utilize a passing period. We understand that this may not always be possible, but when it is, it really benefits our learning environment. Check the bell schedule HERE. Thanks for your help and support!
Attendance
Please email CBSSattendance@gunnisonschools.net if your student will be absent or needs to miss any classes. Per the student handbook, please note that students who are more than 25 minutes late to class without a call or email from a guardian will be marked as an unexcused absence for that period.
