Kindergarten "Move-a-Thon" Update
Thank you to everyone for your support during our recent “Move-a-thon”! Snail Lake students moved their bodies for a grand total of 173, 664 minutes and raised $8, 132.76 for our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)! Thank you so much for encouraging your student to get up and move and for your generous financial support of our school!
Because we have met our goals for minutes tracked and donations, students get to enjoy a popcorn party next week. Also, during a special assembly today, teachers got to silly string Dr. Lang! Way to go, Snail Lake!!
Thank you for your donations
We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the Pants and Clothing Drive. Our health office is now fully stocked for the school year!
Access to Classrooms and Learning Spaces
The classrooms, learning spaces, and library within the building are off-limits to guests unless you have a scheduled appointment with a teacher. If you are dropping off or picking up your student from YCARE or an after-school activity, please keep this in mind. We appreciate your partnership!
Help prevent spread of illness
Respiratory illness season is around the corner. And this is a great time for us to be reminding ourselves and our children about the healthy hygiene habits that keep us healthy!
Wash hands frequently for 20 seconds.
Cover coughs and sneezes with an elbow.
Stay home when sick.
Get plenty of rest, stay hydrated, and eat nutritious foods.
Clean frequently touched surfaces.
For guidance on when to keep your child home , visit Is My Child Well Enough to Go to School?.
Our Health Office staff are always available to answer questions and support students who become ill during the school day. Thank you for helping keep our school community healthy!

Farm to School Thursdays
This Farm to School Thursday, students enjoyed cheese curds from Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery and potatoes from Hugh’s Garden. Cheese provides calcium to help build strong bones, while potatoes provide potassium, an essential nutrient.
