Missing Something?
What is COPPA?
What does this mean for teachers?
1. Know our district's technology policies and make sure students are educated about them as well. These policies can be found on our district's resource hub.
2. Choose your classroom tech wisely. Be aware of the websites and apps you are allowing your students to use and if it is collecting any information from them. Evaluating the privacy policies of websites is a great thing to do before introducing anything to your students.
3. Not sure? If you're ever unsure about a program, don't hesitate to reach out to your school technology coordinator or the technology department.
