Congratulations to all of us! This week we had our first pick-up with everyone dismissing within 15 minutes. I have noticed that many of you have adjusted your pick time to spread out your arrival time when it's not as congested. Thank you for making it all work. We hope to have a small treat for you next week to celebrate.

Did you miss our 7th and 8th graders these last few days? That is because they have been on a school retreat. They have been growing together as leaders and will be helping lead our week of worship next week. We are proud of these students and love seeing how God continues to use them for His kingdom.

We will have our Fall Week of Worship (WoW) next week. We will start each day with an exciting worship time at our school. Please try to arrive on time because each morning we will travel over to the Keene Church for worship. This WoW will introduce our spirtual theme for the year and get us off on the right foot. Parents are welcome to join us if they would like each morning at the church around 8:30 am.

We are excited to announce that volleyball tryouts will be held this Monday in the gym. We encourage you to bring your child to participate—we would love to see them there!

Elementary (4th, 5th, & 6th grade): 3:20 PM in the gym

Junior High (7th & 8th grade): 4:20 PM in the gym

We are looking forward to a great season and can’t wait to see the girls come out for tryouts!

Please remember that next Friday August 29 we will dismiss at 12:00 pm. After school care and lunch will not be provided on Fridays when we dismiss at noon.

I am still looking for two individuals who are willing to give a couple of hours a month to help keep our school field nice for our kids. If you can help, please contact Mr. Coulter.

Next Friday, we will have our annual middle school class clash immediately following our Week of Worship. This is the first of our middle school spirit events. Who will win the honor of keeping the school spirit trophy in their classroom?
