Dear PES Families,
We had a busy week! On Wednesday, the school celebrated National Walking Day by walking laps around the field. On Thursday, some of the 4th grade classes hosted an Author's Tea where students read stories about their favorite places, and families came in to listen. Students from Mrs. Obuchowski's class also had the opportunity to share their favorite places during our all-school meeting on Friday.
A quick reminder: the Reading with Ribby bookmarks are due by Friday, 4/11. Please make sure your child’s bookmark is signed by a parent before it is handed in to Mrs. Petrone, our reading specialist, who is helping to organize this program.
Our Celebration of Learning is coming up on 4/17 from 5:30–6:30 PM. We invite you to come see some of the hard work your student has been doing—and maybe even play a few games! There will also be an ice cream social and a Scholastic Book Fair happening at the same time. Bobby the Bobcat might even make an appearance! We hope to see you there!
