IMSAโs Scholastic Book Fair ๐
IMSA recently hosted its annual Scholastic Book Fair, turning the school into a lively hub of books and excitement. Students explored new titles, from adventure stories to graphic novels, discovering books that sparked their curiosity. The event built on IMSAโs daily 15 minutes of DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time, encouraging students to read for fun and develop lifelong literacy habits.
The fair was a true community effort, with SGA students helping organize and teachers joining in to support the event. It was a wonderful reminder that reading connects us all and continues far beyond the classroom.

Dorm Students Enjoy a Weekend Getaway at Cheaha Mountain โฐ๏ธ๐ฅ
This past weekend, IMSA dorm students took a refreshing trip to Cheaha Mountain, Alabamaโs highest point, for a day filled with fun, relaxation, and connection. Surrounded by natureโs beauty, students enjoyed a delicious barbecue and spent quality time talking and bonding with their dorm mentors and teachers.
The trip offered a chance to step away from the regular routine and enjoy meaningful conversations in a peaceful outdoor setting. Laughter, good food, and beautiful scenery made the day one to remember.
