AMAZING DAY! Rogers Unified Basketball hosted the Middletown Islanders on Tuesday for an epic game! Thank you all for supporting these stellar athletes!

All students had the opportunity to attend a JOB FAIR held in the RHS cafeteria on Thursday. Thank you to all the businesses & companies in attendance.

As part of the Learn 365 initiative, the City of Newport and its community partners have additional FAFSA support available to the community. Evening workshops on Wednesday’s in March are available at the Boys & Girls Club in the Florence Gray Center and Conexion Latina Newport (CLN) is hosting a Financial Aid completion evening in Spanish on Thursday March 21st. Flyers for both opportunities are attached below.

Additionally, Sasha Juarez from CCRI (sasha.juarez@uri.edu) is available to work directly in English or Spanish with all families. Please sign up here and she will be in contact with you directly.

The Summer Institute of Politics at Salve Regina University's Pell Center is a weeklong residential program that offers promising high school students the opportunity to grapple with great challenges. Many of the scholarships listed are online scholarships. The general rule is if the scholarship listed has a link that means the application is online. If the scholarship on the list does not have an online link then the paper application is in Guidance in the filing cabinet under the "Scholarship" sign! (To the right of Ms. Gorman's desk)

For every scholarship you apply for you will need to fill out a Blue Transcript Request form. Those forms are available in Guidance on the table in front of Ms. Gorman's desk. If you are not able to come to Guidance you can email Ms. Gorman @ joanngorman@npsri.net and she will forward you an electronic fillable form.
