What a wonderful week it has been at Giesinger! These four-day weeks sure do fly by! I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend and that our Eagles are settling into our new school schedule. Thank you for helping us make the transition to our new 7:50 AM start time a smooth one! Just a friendly reminder that our doors open at 7:15 AM, students are considered tardy after 7:50 AM, and breakfast is served until 8:00 AM.

One of my favorite parts of being a principal is walking through our classrooms and seeing the incredible things happening each day. From the excitement of learning something new to the kindness our students show one another, there is so much to celebrate at Giesinger. Our teachers pour their hearts into making school a place where children feel loved, supported, and challenged to grow. I couldn't be prouder of our Eagle family!

Breakfast with Buddies – Thursday, October 22 | 7:30–8:15 AM

We are excited to welcome our Eagle families for a special morning together! Join us for breakfast and enjoy some quality time with your favorite Eagle before the school day gets underway. We love opportunities to bring our families into the Nest!

Giesinger PTO Dance and Trunk or Treat – Friday, October 23 | 5:30–7:30 PM

Get ready for a fun-filled evening with our Eagle community! Our PTO and our staff are working hard to make this a special event for our families. We can't wait to see everyone enjoying an evening of dancing, laughter, and memories together!

The weather is looking beautiful for the weekend, and I hope you find some time to get outside, enjoy the sunshine, and make memories with the people you love.

Thank you for sharing your precious children with us each day. It truly is a privilege to be part of their lives, and I am so grateful to be part of this amazing community!

Join the Conroe High School Golden Girls and Goldies for a morning of dancing, crafts, and winter fun at our 2026 Winter Workshop! All children in Pre-K through 6th grade are invited to participate.

• Date: Saturday, December 5, 2026

• Time: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

• Location: Conroe High School Main Campus Gym

• Check-in: 7:30–8:00 AM

• Cost: $45 per participant

Registration includes a Winter Workshop T-shirt and bow, a dance routine taught by the Golden Girls, a snack, a craft, and pictures with Elsa! Photo access will be emailed within three weeks after the event.

Family and friends are invited to watch participants perform at 11:30 AM. Spectator doors open at 11:15 AM.

Participants are encouraged to wear black leggings or bottoms and athletic shoes.

Hello 4th Grade Parents! We need Safety Patrol helpers!

We are looking for students to help greet our Eagles and unload cars in the mornings. This is a great opportunity for students to show leadership and responsibility!

Safety Patrol Times:

• Morning: 7:30 a.m.

• Afternoon: 3:10 p.m.

Students sign up for one week at a time, and families are welcome to select multiple weeks!

Calling All 3rd & 4th Grade Artists!

Get Your Eagle On and help design this year’s yearbook cover! We invite our 3rd and 4th grade students to create artwork inspired by our theme, “Get Your Eagle On.” Designs must be drawn on plain white paper with no lines and include black outlines.

Turn in all submissions to Mrs. Fonville at the front desk. The winner will receive a FREE yearbook and the honor of having their artwork featured on the cover! The winner will be announced November 10 during announcements. We can’t wait to see our Eagles’ creativity!

Applications may take up to 10 operating days to process, so we encourage families to apply as soon as possible!

SPONSOR A BOOTH: Decorate a fun booth and join in the festivities! PTO provides ALL the candy, and businesses are welcome to pass out promotional items, coupons, or giveaways. There is a vendor fee of $15 for this option!

🚗 If your child had a large number of sales, we encourage you to make arrangements to pick up their items from school rather than having them carry everything home.
