April Happenings
The Department of War celebrates military children during the month of April. There are more than 1.6 million military children who face many challenges and unique experiences as a result of their parents' service.
While military members serve around the world, we often forget the challenges faced by their children. Military families move on average every two to three years, impacting military children through changing schools and support networks.
Each year, the DOW joins national, state, and local government, schools, military serving organizations, companies, and private citizens in celebrating military children and the sacrifices they make. (Source-U.S. Department of War)
Here at Neff Middle School, we would like to say THANK YOU to our military families and students for their continued sacrifices for our country. In their honor, we will wear PURPLE on April 15th for Purple UP! day to celebrate Month of the Military Child.

READY, SET, COLLEGE! A small group of Lady Texans took advantage of a Spring Break camp offered by Cafe College and the San Antonio Education Partnership.
Students were introduced to the college process and began thinking about their future interests and careers. Students explored various college and career pathways and learned about the educational backgrounds required to succeed in those fields.
