April 17th, 2026

Good afternoon!

As we head into April break, there is so much to celebrate here at Pentucket!

Our spring athletic season is off to a strong start, and it has been great to see our student-athletes back out on the fields and courts competing and representing Pentucket with pride. At the same time, our Student Government has been engaged in some incredible opportunities, including visits and participation at the Massachusetts State House, where they have had the chance to see government in action and represent our school in meaningful ways.

We also had a number of students participate in STEM Day at Fenway Park, an exciting experience that brought learning to life in a unique and engaging setting. Opportunities like these continue to highlight the wide range of experiences available to our students both inside and outside the classroom.

When we return from break, things will move quickly—hang on! The end of the school year will be here before we know it, and there is a lot ahead, including events, performances, competitions, and important academic milestones.

As always, please be sure to check the SMORE newsletter for the most up-to-date dates and information so you don’t miss anything.

Wishing everyone a safe, restful, and well-deserved April break!

PMHS Principal

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Pentucket's junior student-athlete who was recently named Player of the Year and is a four time All-Star! This recognition highlights an already impressive high school swimming career. Jenna continues to excel both in the classroom and in the pool, and the article beautifully describes her as “the definition of a student-athlete"!

What is the Pentucket Senior Celebration?

The PPA hosts an annual, substance-free, all-night celebration for graduating seniors. This beloved tradition—typically attended by over 85% of the class—keeps our graduates safe while they celebrate together one last time.

Students are bussed to surprise venues throughout the night. Past highlights include:

  • Harbor cruises and comedy shows

  • Dances and restaurant stops

  • Hypnotist shows, prizes, and keepsakes
