Falcon Flyer
Belong. Inspire. Grow.
Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families—nothing is ever ‘short’ on a short week! We do just as much with 1 less day! I had trainings Monday-Wednesday, and additional meetings all day Thursday, so today is actually my first day back in school…and I missed it!
We had a little fun built in as well with a festive spirit week, leading up to Halloween. The staff (pictured here) had a lot of fun with the characters from Where’s Waldo!
Congratulations to our Girls Slow Pitch Softball Team for their 3rd Place finish at the State Tournament! The team made school history by placing at state for the first time ever. Way to Go!
Our football team wrapped up our final regular season game by defeating Cheney and winning the GSL 3A Championship! It was a sweet night, especially for our Seniors, who were also recognized Thursday night before their final home game of their careers. That may not be totally true, as I’m hoping we will host an early round playoff game at home! We’ll find out more next week.
Mark your calendar for November 13-21 and reserve your seats Today for Peter and the Starcatcher! This is a very fun and family friendly play for all to enjoy! Come and support our students and have a great evening of entertainment!
There are many other activities and academic successes to celebrate in today’s Flyer! Of course, there are a lot of upcoming events and notices for your attention as well.
Make it a great weekend! --Mr. Hardt

Women's Empowerment Alliance
Throughout October, Ridgeline’s Women’s Empowerment Alliance has been hosting a feminine hygiene drive benefiting the Spokane Hope House. As part of this initiative, the club recently received a generous donation of $200 worth of feminine hygiene products from CHAS Health.
The drive aims to collect essential items, including pads, tampons, and hygiene wipes, to support individuals in need in our community. Donations are still being accepted through the end of October and can be dropped off in Room D212.
We are grateful to CHAS Health for supporting this initiative and encourage students and staff to contribute to help us make an even greater impact in our community.

Those little plastic tabs that close your bread bags? Don't toss them! Our Bread Tab Drive is back, benefiting Special Olympics. The tabs are recycled for cash, and that money helps buy wheelchairs for people who need them.
It takes approximately 260,000 bread tabs to purchase one very basic wheelchair, so every single tab matters. Last year our community collected over 22,000 tabs. This year, our goal is 25,000.
Keep a jar or baggie by the bread drawer, pull off the tab when the bag is done, and send them in whenever it fills up. Drop off tabs at the RHS front office.
Same jars. Bigger goal. Thank you for helping us get there!
