NOTE FROM YOUR PRINCIPAL
Hello Titus Families,
We had a fantastic week at Titus! This week, the Warrington Fire Department visited our school to present a fire prevention assembly for students in grades K-2. Our students were an excellent audience as they learned important fire safety tips and how to stay safe in emergency situations. The visit concluded with an exciting opportunity to explore a real fire truck and tour the equipment firefighters use every day.
I also had the pleasure of spending time in Mr. Farese’s classroom during a Reading Horizons lesson. Students were learning the vowel team ie and actively participating in phonics instruction. I was incredibly impressed by their engagement and strong understanding of phonetic skills and concepts. It was wonderful to see students confidently applying their learning and demonstrating so much growth in their literacy development.
I hope everyone has a great weekend. We are looking forward to seeing students back on Monday.
Your Principal,
Erin Walter

TITUS SCHOOL DAY
START OF THE SCHOOL DAY ...
We are an "A" or early school, and our hours are 8:35 AM to 3:15 PM.
Please be aware that the school day begins at 8:35 AM in your child(ren)'s classroom(s). If you are a car rider in the morning, it is recommended that children are dropped off no later than 8:30 AM in order to get to their classrooms for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. If a student arrives in their classroom beyond 8:35 AM, they are considered tardy. Parents will need to come into the building to sign their child in if they arrive after 8:35 AM.
The adults supervising the car-rider drop-off line will be on duty until 8:32 AM. Students dropped off after 8:32 AM will more than likely not be able to make it to their classrooms on time for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. Also, for safety reasons, students arriving to school prior to 8:15 AM, need to be supervised by their parent/caregiver. We ask that all students wait with their family member in the drop off line until 8:15 AM.

Dismissal Change Procedure
End-of-Day Dismissal Change Procedure:
If your student must go home a different way than usual, please follow these steps to ensure your student dismisses the correct way:
✅Email your student’s teacher and copy the entire office staff, stating your student’s name and the end-of-day dismissal change:
- [teacher's email]@cbsd.org
✅If a student is going home with another family, the parents of both families must email or call the office, providing consent.
✅Copying the entire office staff assures the dismissal change is included in end-of-day dismissal announcements and is a backup if the teacher or any office staff are absent.
✅Please submit changes as early as possible. Changes cannot be accepted after 2:50PM.
Important Information from School Health Office
VOLUNTEERS
DON'T FORGET CLEARANCES....
Titus requires all potential volunteers to complete their paperwork for clearances prior to assuming any volunteer/chaperone role within the school. This will ensure we are in line with district and state expectations.
Who Needs Clearances: An individual who is responsible for the child's welfare or has direct contact with children. Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children to obtain background checks and clearances. In the best interest of the safety and security of our students, Central Bucks School District requires the submission of these clearances prior to volunteering during the school year. Each volunteer must create an individual Raptor account, and all required clearances must be submitted with your application. Approved volunteers must check in at the office with photo ID, such as a driver's license, when volunteering.
Additional information and steps on how to complete your clearances and to register to be a volunteer can be found on our district website.
