The Fowler Weekly
January 16-20
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Fowler Family,
The semester is fast approaching and we need your help to encourage students to complete and submit missing assignments that they can still submit for feedback and scores. Our semester ends February 2, but some classes have missing assignment deadlines much sooner than that. #maximize opportunities
We also recently learned that a new brand of clothing appearing in schools is associated with marijuana culture. Attached is our united district response and a little history and context related to the clothing brand. All of our secondary schools will begin prohibiting Cookies brand apparel beginning Tuesday, January 17th. If your child has any Cookies outfits/hats/items in their wardrobe of school apparel, please let them know you are aware that these items are not allowed at school. We will do the same on our end.
Be well and be safe,
Andy

HELPFUL TIDBITS
Students who want to ride a bus home with a friend, or get off at a different stop, may do so however they must follow these steps:
Students must bring a written note from their parent/guardian that includes the student name that they will be riding home with and the bus number they will be riding. The note should be brought to the Main Office PRIOR to the end of the day for admin signature. (Example: Mickey Mouse has my permission to ride bus number 56 home with Donald Duck today, 1/5/23. Parent Signature.)
Or parents may email permission to fowleroffice@ttsd.k12.or.us and we will get the note signed and to your student.
Failure to follow the above procedures may result in parents needing to come pick up their child.
PSO
The PSO is hosting a dance for all students.
