Boyden Weekly Update

Boyden WeeklyUpdateJuen 6, 2025

Dear Boyden Families,

We finished up our "Spring Concert Series" this week with Grade 4 and Grade 5 students performing. Directed by Mrs. Cassani, the students were able to showcase all of their hard work throughout the school year. Thank you to Mrs. Cassani for making all the concerts a huge success.

Today the weather cooperated and Field Day was a success! Thank you to Mr. Colardo who organized another amazing day for the students with field games, water games, gym games, dancing and more. It can not be a succesful day without all of the volunteers. Thank you to the many families who helped make this a great day.

The last day of school is next Friday, June 13th and it is an early release (12:25 PM dismissal).

Enjoy the weekend!

Brendan

Medication Pickup

Please plan on picking up your child's medication the week of 6/9 between 9:00-2:30pm or on the last day of school (June 13th) until 12pm. The health office has stock Epi-Pens in the event of an emergency.

  • If you have a grade 5 student, you will not be able to pick up their medication until 6/11 due to the Grade 5 Field Day on 6/10.

Unfortunately, the nurse is unable to send home medication with your student and we are unable to store medication over the summer.

As a reminder, your child will need updated medication orders for the 2025-26 school year that are dated after 06/30/2025. The nurse will reach out to you prior to the start of the school year with availability to drop off new orders and their medication(s).

Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns or need a different accommodation for pick up (ie if your child attends extended day AM/PM).

Water Bottles

Next week looks to be warm again. Please send your child in with a water bottle from home. The cafeteria cannot supply any more water bottles due to they have to conserve them for the lunches they provide to students and are no longer able to order more. Please send your child in with a reusable water bottle that they can refill throughout the day. Thank you for your help with this to keep the kids healthy and hydrated.
