PHELPS FIELD DAY PHELPS FIELD DAY

Phelps Elementary School was buzzing with energy and excitement during our recent Field Day, and what a day it was! Thanks to the incredible effort and support of our families, dedicated parent volunteers, and the amazing PAC, the event was a tremendous success from start to finish.

Students enjoyed a full day of outdoor fun, rotating through a variety of exciting stations including Gaga Ball, Corn Hole, Bubbles and Chalk, Jenga, Soccer, Connect 4, Connector Sets, Bowling, Longest Throw, Gymnastics, Bean Bag Throw, Obstacle Course, Dunk Tank, 3-Legged Race, Sack Races, Solo Cup Crash, Fill-a-Bucket, Water Tic Tac Toe, and the wildly popular Sponge Water Relay.

Laughter, teamwork, and smiles were everywhere as students cheered each other on, tried new activities, and made unforgettable memories with classmates and staff. The weather was perfect, the energy was high, and the joy was contagious!

We are so grateful to all the families and volunteers who gave their time and talents to help organize and run the day’s events. Field Day would not be possible without your support, and we’re so lucky to have such a strong and generous school community.

BULLDOGS OF THE WEEK BULLDOGS OF THE WEEK

This week, eight students earned the right to be called PAWS Bulldogs of the Week. These students must have had a lot of PAWS in the buckets, because their names were randomly drawn to be recognized Friday afternoon on the announcements. These students earned +20 points for their house, this picture on our PAWS Champions bulletin board, and that special BIG PAW you see below! Great job being Responsible, Respectful, Safe, and Kind! Keep up the great work!

We have seen so much growth in our students this year and couldn't be more proud of their hard work. if you are looking for a resource for more learning at home, all students have access to log onto i-READY Math & Learning Individualized learning pathways.
