Graduation of our 6th Class Pupils
We will be saying a very special goodbye to our 6th Class pupils at 12 noon on Thursday 18th June. Tea and coffee along with some tasty treats will be served followed by the ceremony followed by the final bell where the children and their parents will walk out of the school for one last time.
We will miss our 6th Class girls and wish them all the best in their new adventures.
Uniform Drop Off
We would be very grateful for any donations of old school tracksuits. To make donating easier, children from 1st to 5th Classes are invited to wear their own clothes on Thursday and Friday, giving parents an opportunity to drop off any clean, pre-loved school tracksuits, T-shirts, or shorts to the school office. (note 6th Class will still need their uniform for their Graduation on Thursday).
Having a supply of spare clothing in the office is incredibly helpful for children throughout the school year. The new tracksuits have proven to be very durable, and we would love to give outgrown items a second life.
If Friday doesn't suit, the school office will also be open to accept donations on Monday 22nd June and Tuesday 23rd June. We kindly ask that all donated items are clean and in good condition.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
Welcome to our 1st class 2026
We have included out incoming 1st Class pupils in this newsletter to give them a flavour of what to expect in September.
School Closures
Don't forget the school will close on Friday at 12 noon for the summer holidays. See you all again on Wednesday 26th August.

A copy of the school calendar was sent home last week with every child. Please note that there will be other closures during the year for staff training. We will inform you as soon as we get those dates.
School Report Cards
The report cards were released on Aladdin during the week. Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions.
School Fee Notes
Dear Parents/Guardians,
A reminder that notes regarding school fees were sent home last week. We appreciate that many families are facing financial pressures, and we are committed to keeping school costs as affordable as possible.
These contributions help support the broad range of educational opportunities and experiences we provide for our pupils and enable us to continue delivering high-quality learning experiences for all.
Thank you for your continued support.
Yours faithfully,
Eileen Kelly
Principal

Bí Cinealta(Anti Bullying Policy) Review
Thank you to all those who filled in the questionnaire as part of the Bí Cinealta Policy. The review has now been completed. The link to the policy is here https://stpatricksgirls.net/bi-cinealta-policy/
Here below is a shortened version.
Bí Cinealta – Our Anti-Bullying Policy
What is Bullying?
Bullying is when:
- One child or group keeps hurting another child on purpose.
- It happens again and again, not just once.
- The child being hurt feels they have less power (for example, fewer friends, smaller, or not as strong).
Bullying can be:
- Physical – hitting, pushing, taking things.
- Verbal – name-calling, teasing, threats.
- Social – leaving someone out, spreading rumours.
- Online – mean messages, posts, or images.
- Identity-based – picking on someone because of who they are (race, culture, gender, disability, family, etc.).
What Parents Should Do
- Listen to your child and let them know it’s not their fault.
- Tell the school quickly – speak with the teacher or another staff member.
- Give details – what happened, when, where, and who was involved.
What the School Will Do
- Take it seriously and act quickly.
- Support your child and make sure they feel safe.
- Work with everyone involved to stop the bullying.
- Keep you informed and check to make sure it has stopped.
Together, we can make our school safe, kind and welcoming for every child.
