Trick-or-Treat at UUFH this Sunday
Wear a costume - Bring a friend - 10:30AM -1:30PM
Dear Families,
Join us and bring your friends for some safe and spooky fun at UUFH during the service this Sunday morning!
Kids are invited to trick-or-treat around the Fellowship Hall. There will be some candy, but most of the treats are small toys, stickers, and jewelry. Older kids are invited to check out the slightly scarier haunted house in the cottage.
The festivities are scheduled to last from 10:30-1:30, with the fun starting upstairs in the sanctuary with the Story for All Ages.
Big thanks to all of the volunteers who are participating in the "let's decorate potluck party" on Saturday starting at 5PM, and lots of love to the grown-ups who are dressing up and passing out treats to the kids.
Joni, Wayne, and Ron P - Thanks for passing out the treats! Your enthusiastic support of Family Ministry and love for the kids is seen and appreciated! Finger foods for the Halloween Party in the Fellowship Hall and additional treats to pass out are still needed, so it's not too late to help out if you haven't signed up!
Oh and do you have to have kids in the FM program to dress up? No!
All are encouraged to dress up and join the fun this Sunday!
Even Rev. George is dressing up this Sunday (I hear he's going to dress as a baseball player!) so you'll be in good company if you dress up this Sunday. The more, the merrier when it comes to costuming!
𧑠Love,
The Head Witch

And of course, lots of appreciation to all of those who dress up! It wouldn't feel like a Halloween Party without you and your creative costumes!
Ways to Contribute
Let's make this Sunday and fun and memorable time for all by working collaboratively! There are lots of ways to contribute to the fun, but here's a few ideas to help you get started...
- Help decorate this Saturday at 5PM
- Dress up in a costume this Sunday
- Bring treats to pass out to the kids*
- Bring finger foods for the party
- Bring a pumpkin to paint at UU**
- Help with the clean-up around 2PM
*TREATS = inexpensive toys, preowned books, stickers, art supplies, etc. We're trying to minimize the sugar rush but still have a fun and festive time!
** Haven't decorated your pumpkin yet? No problem! Decorate it at UU. There will be a pumpkin painting station. You bring the pumpkin. FM will provide the paints and decals! π
