Our tardy bell rings at 7:45 am each day. Your child needs to be in the building prior to this time! Students who are consistently late, even if it is a few minutes, are still missing valuable class time.

Thankful and Blessed

Every year, the nation sets aside the first week in May to celebrate and appreciate teachers. This past week teachers and staff have enjoyed and loved every flower, handmade card, school supply, sweet treat, and lunch that has been given to them. THANK YOU to our PTF officers, families, friends, and volunteers who have graciously made it a priority to spoil us ALL and make us feel special and loved. We are so thankful and blessed!!

As the principal of this school, I can say from the bottom of my heart, the teachers and staff at HEART Academy at JNES are a phenomenal group that have the passion and love for the job they do every day. It’s not easy, nor is it a 7-3pm job. They do it because they genuinely care about YOUR child! I am so grateful to work alongside the best faculty and staff around. They truly have the biggest HEARTS. I am so thankful and blessed!

Thank you so much for all of your support!

Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Baswell are officially known as the school’s Registrar and Bookkeeper, but we really know they are the ones behind the scenes that make everything happen. These ladies know how to get things done and ALWAYS have a smile on their face. I am so appreciative of all that they do! They are the BEST “Office Ladies” around!!

Dear JNES Parents,

We are so excited to share some information about our Field Day and End of the Year Celebration at Julian Newman. It will take place on Friday, May 20th this year. The day will be divided in half so that two grade levels are participating in relays, while the others are playing in the Celebration area, then they will swap. Specific times are posted below so you can make plans accordingly. We would love for parents to join our spectator zone and cheer on students at scheduled relay times. Only parents who sign up to work a game or inflatable (at the link below) will be able to enter the Celebration Area at their designated time.

Students will be outside a majority of the day, either participating in old fashion relays, including a tug of war between homerooms or playing in the celebration area with inflatables, slides, bounce houses, games, and concessions. Again this year we will be selling armbands for $10.00. Armbands will be pre-sold between now and Thursday, May 19. The purchase of an armband will include the following and entitles you to unlimited fun in the Celebration Area! You can sign up to volunteer by clicking on the button below.

Obstacle Course

Double Lane Slide

BINGO

Inflatable Ax Throw

Jr. Basketball

Football Challenge

Rockin Bounce

Castle Slide and Bounce

Concessions

The list of concessions will be sold in the Celebration Area during the times listed above. Parents may wish to send money for their child to purchase a snack. Any money sent with a child should be labeled with their name.

Dill Pickles $1.00

Corn Dogs $2.00

Funnel Cakes $3.00

Kona Ice $3-$6

Thanks to everyone who has volunteered through the Sign-Up Genius link above to help with the End of Year Celebration 2022. We can always use more!! :)

Your support and participation are greatly appreciated. I hope all goes well and it will be an enjoyable day.
