Come join us as we send off the ARGYLE HIGH SCHOOL BAND to the UIL state marching competition in San Antonio!

The sendoff will be held at 12:45 p.m. on SUNDAY, NOV. 3 on the west side of Argyle High School near the band hall. Bring signs & noisemakers and help us send off the band with a big celebration!! Please help us by sharing this information.

The band will be performing at 5 p.m. on Monday in the preliminary round in the Alamodome in San Antonio. This is Argyle's first Class 5A state competition after moving up in classification.

Argyle is the state's most decorated band with a record eight state championships!

Today is the final day of early voting in the November election. The ballot includes the Argyle ISD School Funding Referendum for all AISD voters.

Polls are open until 7 p.m. tonight. All voting on election day must be done by precinct. Tonight is the last chance to vote at ANY Denton County voting location.

Proposition A - the School Funding Referendum, if approved, would retain funding for teacher and staff pay raises, maintaining class sizes and adding support personnel.

On Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday, October 31, Argyle ISD middle and high school students competed in the Regional Special Olympics Bowling Event in Euless.

Every athlete earned a ribbon or medal, proudly representing Argyle with their hard work and team spirit. Congratulations to all our athletes!

Argyle ISD is excited to host its Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, a meaningful initiative to support fellow Eagles in need. We invite families to send non-perishable food donations with students to their homeroom teachers or designated classes (secondary level). Each class will work together to complete the list of needed items, helping our community members this holiday season.

Food collections run through November 13. Thank you for your generosity, Eagles!

Hats may be picked up Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and on Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, at the Argyle ISD Administration Building located at 6701 Canyon Falls Dr., Flower Mound, TX 76226.

Interested in joining the Argyle ISD team? The district is hiring a crossing guard for Jane Ruestmann Elementary. One shift is from 6:45 a.m. to 8 a.m. and one is from 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. The pay is $16 per hour.

The Argyle Eagles football team looks to clinch at least a tie for District 3-5A state championship tonight at Grapevine. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Argyle (7-1) has won seven consecutive games and is coming off a 56-0 victory at home against Burleson. It was the Eagles' first shutout of the year. Grapevine is 0-8 and coming off a 55-10 loss to Mansfield Timberview.

The Argyle Lady Eagles' basketball team is opening the 2024-2025 season Friday and Saturday in the Argyle Tip-Off Classic at the AHS Arena.

Argyle hosts Coppell at 4:20 p.m. on Friday. The Lady Eagles will play on Saturday at 3:20 p.m. vs. Sachse. Come out and watch the Lady Eagles as they begin a new year!!
