Term 3 Week 2 2026
Prayer
Loving God,
We thank You for Your constant love and presence in our lives. As we reflect on Your word, help us to grow in faith, trust, and perseverance in prayer.
Teach us to seek You with open hearts, to listen for Your guidance, and to share Your love with those around us. Bless our school community, our families, and all who are in need. May we always remember that you walk with us each day.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Our Vision and Values
From Mr Will
Dear Community Members,
Over the past week, I had the privilege of attending the statewide Catholic Primary Principals’ Association (CPPA) Conference alongside colleagues from across Western Australia. The conference brought together inspiring educators and leaders who shared their expertise on a wide range of topics, including building positive school cultures, preparing for success at the highest levels of sport through Olympic experiences, and implementing restorative practices in schools.
We were fortunate to hear from an outstanding lineup of presenters, including Steve Francis, Brendan Spillane, Dr Lauren Burns and Adam Voigt. Each speaker challenged us to reflect on our leadership, strengthen our practice and continue striving to provide the very best outcomes for our students and communities.
A special highlight of the conference was celebrating the 50th anniversary of the CPPA. This significant milestone provided an opportunity to acknowledge the remarkable contribution of past and present Catholic primary school principals across Western Australia and the exceptional leadership they demonstrate every day. Mr V (Past Holy Spirit Principal) and other CPPA Alumni were in attendance and we shared great conversations together.
Following the conference, I travelled to Adelaide to attend the latest meeting of the Australian Catholic Primary Principals Association (ACPPA). Having recently been appointed to the national board, I am excited by the opportunity to represent Western Australia on a national stage, learning from colleagues across the country and advocating for schools, education systems and the teaching profession as a whole.
Key discussions centred on the review of the AITSL Standards, the response to ongoing national wellbeing measures for Principals, and strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of the profession. It was a great honour to collaborate with educational leaders from across Australia who, despite working in diverse contexts, share a common purpose: ensuring that students remain at the centre of all we do.
Annual P&F Parent Evening
We have our Annual P&F Parent evening coming up this Saturday evening, which is set to be an amazing evening of dancing, games and entertainment with catering by Mi Scusi! If you haven’t already, tickets can be accessed through the link below:

Final Word
If you weren’t already planning on it, ensure you get along to some of our Friday morning assemblies this term. The Catholic Performing Arts Festival has commenced and as such our students perform as a precursor to their CPAF performance. It is a wonderful display of their hard work and determination and incredible to witness, you won’t regret it!
The top of the tipping ladder is absolutely locked with Lord Dawson and tommygunn99 both on 129 tips. Mr Wright is just one tip behind on 128. Who will take their chance for glory and back the underdog to move up the ladder in the final rounds of the competition?!
Remember you only have to win 1 round to earn your money back, everyone is still in with a chance!
Until next time,
Ben
