PTA REFLECTIONS PROGRAM

What is Reflections? "The PTA Reflections program provides access to the arts and opportunities for recognition to help students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas using art." — National PTA
Who can enter: Students in Pre-K through grade 12 — every age and ability level.
Scale: Over 300,000 students nationwide take part each year.
Grade divisions: Primary (Pre-K–2), Intermediate (3-5).
How entries are judged: Top 5 entries in each category per grade division will advance to district level judging. School staff committee will review the projects. Every student who submits a project will receive a certificate of participation recognizing their effort.
Accessible Arts Division: an option for students who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or ADA Section 504 — with accommodations so every student can participate fully.

Create an original entry. Make a new piece inspired by this year's theme, shown above.
Add a title and artist statement. Every entry needs an original title and a 10–100-word artist statement describing what inspired the work and how it is related.
