Principal's Update
Western Center families and friends,
After years of dedicated service, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Anne Marie Yusko, Administrative Assistant to the Principal, on her retirement!
I am filled with gratitude for Anne Marie and the immeasurable impact she has had on both me personally and on the daily operations of our school. She has been far more than a colleague, she has been a trusted partner, a steady presence, and an essential part of everything WMCTC.
Please see below for more on Anne Marie from her close friend and colleague, Lisa Berrodin.
In other WMCTC news, please be sure to check out the long list of scholarships being offered near the end of this newsletter. Some have deadlines that are approaching soon. Take advantage of these generous scholarships.
Our Facebook page (link below) has many posts featuring students doing interesting things in their programs. You may even find a WMCTC alum being featured. Check us out. Better yet, follow us on Facebook to be sure you don't miss any of the feature stories.
Have a nice weekend,

A tribute to the legendary Mrs. Anne Marie Yusko
March 31, 2026 marks the end of an era. Mrs. Anne Marie Yusko, Student Services Administrative Assistant, will work her final day at Western Montgomery CTC.
Mrs. Yusko started in October 2012 as an Instructional Assistant. She thoroughly enjoyed assisting students with their classroom assignments and especially Math problems. She is Albert Einstein's biggest fan! The following school year she accepted the position in the Student Services Office as the Principal’s Administrative Assistant (aka second in command.)
Over the years, Mrs. Yusko became a familiar and beloved presence in the Student Services Office; accepting paperwork, talking to parents, resetting Skyward passwords, or de-escalating any situation with grace and professionalism.
Mrs. Yusko has a fun side and organized the annual Super Bowl squares (for valuable prizes), brought in tasty (or spicy) treats, or had an interesting “Fun Fact of the Day” to share. She recently hosted a Cheese Doodle taste-testing!
She has had a huge impact on all that have worked with her or talked with her over the years at WMCTC. She will be deeply missed, and we wish her all the joy and rest she deserves in retirement!!
