Marching Forward with Gratitude and Health!
Dear Carberry Families,
March is here, and with it comes a burst of energy and excitement! I want to start by expressing my deepest gratitude to our incredible PTO and the dedicated team who made "Carberry's Got Talent" such a resounding success. What an amazing night! The talent displayed by our students was truly inspiring, and it was especially heartwarming to see our special population students shine so brightly. Their performances touched our hearts and reminded us of the incredible potential within each and every one of our children.
The generosity of our community was overwhelming. We raised nearly $11,000, thanks to the hard work of our volunteers and the support of nearly 90 donors who provided fantastic silent auction items. Your contributions will make a real difference in the lives of our students. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
As we look ahead, please remember that Spring Break is just around the corner. I encourage everyone to take this time to rest, recharge, and prioritize your family's health. We've experienced a particularly challenging flu season this year, and it’s important to take extra precautions to stay well. Make sure everyone is getting plenty of sleep, eating nutritious foods, and staying hydrated.
Speaking of staying warm, please take a moment to check our lost and found. With the chilly weather still upon us, many coats and other winter items are waiting to be claimed. We want to ensure our students have the necessary gear to stay comfortable and healthy.
Looking further into April, we will have parent-teacher conferences shortly after spring break. This is a crucial time for us to connect and discuss your child's progress. Please be sure to sign up for a time that works for you. Following conferences, we will begin Idaho Standard Achievement Testing (ISAT). We will be working hard to prepare our students for these assessments, and your support at home is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful community at Carberry Elementary!
Warmly,
Greg Alexander
