A Family Network on Disabilities POPIN Family Learning Event!

Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 10 AM-1130 AM at

Northwest Coast Baptist Association

1202 Virginia Ave.

Lynn Haven, FL 32444

Families of children who are exceptional AND mainstream in Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to join us for a morning of stories, learning, creativity, technology, and family fun!

Join Glenesha Milner, Parent Training Coordinator with Family Network on Disabilities POPIN, for an interactive family event designed to give children and their families fun ways to read and learn together.

Glenesha is also the creator and owner of Lilliepad Moments, a children's entertainment party experience that combines storytelling, music, imagination, and interactive fun. She wanted to bring her original character, Princess Lilliepad of the Florida Gulf Coast, to life in a meaningful way, so she created a story inspired by real events and experiences from her own life. She is especially excited for this opportunity to bring together her work as a Parent Training Coordinator and her creative work through Lilliepad Moments. Most of all, she looks forward to seeing how the children and their families use their own creativity to help bring the rest of Princess Lilliepad’s story to life.

Youth Alliance Matters Founders is a local Panama City non-profit that will also be joining us! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about THREE WONDERFUL family centered agencies!

Our Morning Adventure

Storytime
We will begin by reading the story of Lilliepad Moments, featuring Princess Lilliepad and her friends Tupelo, Satsuma, and Sydney.

Hands-On Fun
After the story, families will work together to complete a fun, hands-on activity inspired by what we have read.

Digital Story Experience
Next, we will bring out our electronic devices and use digital media to finish the story in a whole new way! Please bring a phone, tablet or laptop with a notepad, Word or Google Doc application.

Breakfast & Parent Training
We will close our morning by enjoying breakfast together while parents and caregivers participate in a short parent training webinar with practical information to support learning at home.

Come ready to read, create, explore, learn, and have fun together!

Please RSVP BEFORE Saturday, September 5th.

Space is limited. Families are encouraged to RSVP early.
