MS 50 Updates: Week of February 12, 2024
Remote Day Instructions
The DOE has announced that tomorrow, February 13, will be a remote learning day due to predicted inclement weather. All instructions and resources for the day are available at ms50.org/remote.
By 8:30AM, students should mark themselves present in the "MS 50 Virtual School" Google Classroom by clicking "Mark as Done" on the assignment labeled "February 13 Attendance." If students have trouble completing this assignment it is no problem, they should go to their 1st period class at 8:30 and tell their teacher to mark them present.
Then, students should follow their normal class schedules, joining the Zoom Meeting of the teacher who teaches that specific class.
If you have any questions or need help during the day, please join the MS 50 Help Desk Zoom or contact us.

i-Ready Homework Reminder
One of our goals this year is for every student at MS 50 to complete 30 minutes of i-Ready ELA lessons and 30 minutes of i-Ready math lessons as part of their homework every week. Teachers will check the previous week’s work every Monday. Students can use their @nycstudents account to log into i-Ready by visiting clever.com.
If logging in on an iPad, you must first download and login to the Clever app. You can then launch i-Ready from Clever and students will be logged in. Download this information sheet for more detailed instructions.
