Boyertown Archival Preservation & Digitization Project
Thanks to a grant from the Foundation for Boyertown Education, students are using a new large-format scanner to digitize Boyertown School Board ledgers dating back to the 1860s — including an 1868 ledger currently being preserved.
NHS students and sophomores completing their service requirement have already dedicated 10 hours to carefully scanning these oversized documents, protecting our district’s rich history for future generations. This equipment not only makes the process more efficient, but it turns meaningful service hours into lasting impact.
Because of our generous donors, we’re preserving the past while empowering today’s students.
