MMS Update
Week of January 20th, 2026
Last Week of the Quarter
Greetings MMS Families,
As we enter the final week of the second quarter, we encourage families to take a few moments to check in with their students about their academic progress. Reviewing PowerSchool together is a great way to ensure students understand where they currently stand, whether there are any assignments that still need to be turned in, or if opportunities exist to retake an assessment. If you have any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to your student’s teachers, they are always happy to help. Thank you for partnering with us to make the first semester such a memorable and successful one, and we look forward with excitement to the start of the second half of the school year.
Thank you all for a great semester, have a great week!

Notan Compositions
Students in 7th grade created Notan compositions by cutting from black paper on a white background. Some students worked off of themes while others created harmonious compositions using shapes. The goal was to blend foreground with background to create balanced, high contrasted designs.

Dismissal/Visiting Procedures
In our ongoing effort to increase school security, we have the following procedures when parents/guardians come to our school during school hours. Thank you all for your understanding.
Dismissal - If dismissing a student, we ask that an authorized dismissing parent/guardian show their ID in the foyer, and then wait in that location for the dismissed student to meet you.
Dropping off items - If a parent/guardian is dropping off an item for a student, we ask that they leave it in the designated area in the foyer.
Visiting the school - If parents/guardians are arriving for a scheduled meeting, we ask that they show their ID in the foyer and then sign in at the main office to receive a visitor pass.
