School Store ~ Get Your Book Buddy!
Our students have loved receiving their free Book Buddy!
We have several more to give out to students.
Haven't received yours yet?
Just visit the School Store link here: https://www.schoolstore.net/sid.t?0000373479
And then send 8 emails. Once you have sent 8, the school will get a code, and your child will receive their Book Buddy! (It is ok if you no longer have the lanyard. The school will be notified and your child will receive their Buddy, once you send the 8 emails.)
You can then use your account, if you wish, to shop online at over 300 retail stores. When you do, the store gives back to the school. Think of it as modern-day box tops, just no more clipping!
Your child can also win additional prizes, all the way up to a PS5! The people you sent emails to are able to send gift cards to your child to purchase books, or to your teacher.
We have already sent home almost 200 Book Buddies with students and they have been so excited. Thank you to those families that have already signed up and supported your teacher and school.
Forgot to Order Schoool Pictures? It's not too late!
Use this link and input the code below to find your child's picture.
Need an ID Replacement?
Our students have done a great job remembering to wear their IDs daily. Thank you, parents, for ensuring your child has their ID daily.
If you need to replace an ID, you can always send cash; however, we now also offer an online payment option for your convenience.

Attendance Matters!
We have had a great time celebrating our students at our monthly BlueJay Bash! We just held our second one of the year last Friday and the students enjoyed dancing, singing and being recognized on stage with a certificate and brag tag.
Teachers will be sharing pictures with their class through school status blasts.
Each month, students have the opportunity to come to the Blue Jay Bash by being at school and on time for the month. Our Outstanding Blue Jay of the Month is also recognized from each classroom as well as our students that are showing outstanding character traits.
Keep up the great work Blue Jays and we will see you at the next Bash!
What to do If Your Child is Absent
Regular, punctual, daily attendance is required of all our students.
We do understand that sometimes our students are sick and need to stay home.
If a student has diarrhea , is vomiting, or running a fever, they need to stay home. Student's must be fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to school.
When your child is out, email our Attendance Clerk, Mrs. Alma, at alma.carrizales@cvisd.org
Anytime your student is out for a doctor's appointment or therapy, a note from the doctor or therapist is required. Otherwise, a parent note is needed the day the student returns.
Make sure the note includes your child“s name, teacher“s name, date of absence and reason for absence. A student will not be counted absent if he or she leaves school or is late to school and a note from a doctor or therapist is provided for that day.
