PARKER WEEKLYBULLETINWeek of June 8th, 2026

Message from Principal Blagg

Good afternoon Parker families:

It was a fantastic last full week of school at Parker Middle School. The students had many culminating activities in the classroom while also enjoying the good weather. There were some trips to Sully's, the 6th Grade trip to Max's Golf, the Spring Band Concert, a Minuteman Presentation to our 5th grade students, a 6th grade Kite demonstration, and the 2nd annual We Are Parker event.

We Are Parker

The We Are Parker event held on Thursday was a great success! It was fantastic seeing so many of our families and staff come together for this culminating event. Special thanks go to Autumn Dolan, Jennifer Clark, Brenna Thornton, Whitney MacIsaac, Colleen Marino, Kristen Lyons, Garret McCarthy, Dawnmarie Annunziata, Ashley Norman, Molly McMahon, and Kate Hart for helping to plan and organize this event. The Cabaret Shows showed the courage and talent of our students, the Art Exhibit and Maker Space showed the creativity of our students, the Badminton and Yard games showed the athleticism of our students, and the food trucks highlighted everyone's love of food! We hope to make this event a yearly tradition and thank everyone who attended.

Artists of the Month

I am proud to celebrate Ivanna Fuchs (Grade 5) and Charlie Beaudreault (Grade 6) as the June Artists of the month. Under the direction of Ms. Annunziata, these two students have thrived as burgeoning artists. They have honed their own unique style while creating with expression, skill, and passion. We are so proud!

Parker Spring Concert

The Parker Band put on a masterful Spring Concert on Wednesday. The fifth-grade band grew exponentially as musicians from the start of the year. The 6th grade band continued to build skills and performed well beyond their years and experience. Mr. Linsner and Mr. DeStefano has developed a program built on discipline, joy, practice, and empowerment. We are so proud of all these students. What a show!

Term 4 Pride Award Winners

We are proud to present our term 4 Pride Award winners. These students have demonstrated one or more of our core values (Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, Empathy) consistently throughout the term. This is a great honor and one to be celebrated!

Have a great weekend. Please reach out if you need support.

Warm regards,

Josh

PERSONAL SPORTS EQUIPMENT PERSONAL SPORTS EQUIPMENT

There's been a recent trend of students bringing outside sports items to school. Please ensure that your student leaves all personal sports equipment, such as basketballs, soccer balls, and baseball bats, etc. at home. The school provides all the necessary, safety-approved athletic gear for recess and physical education classes. Bringing personal items to school often leads to accidental loss, property damage, or peer disagreements during play. Additionally, uncontained sports gear can create safety hazards in classrooms and crowded hallways. Any personal equipment brought to school will be held safely in the front office, students may pick up at the end of the day and will be reminded to leave such items at home. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school environment safe, organized, and focused on learning.
