The Academy Avenue Announcements

Dear Academy Families and Friends,

February Break is a great time to re-charge the batteries and make plans for the second half of the school year. As we near the end of winter and return of spring, there is a certain magic in the air. Not too long from now we'll be sending out information about field trips, Spring Parent Teacher conferences and for students in grades 3-5, MCAS testing. This week ahead we say goodbye to February and hello to the month of March. We will also say hello to the Read Across Academy Challenge and the March Mathness competition (which Academy won last year).

One item to share with our families is the school report card. This link is part of our school's approach to school improvement planning and working towards continuous improvement. It is designed to give our families details of our school's progress and performance in multiple areas. When home and school partners together, we see our students truly flourish. We appreciate all the support we receive from our families and school community.

Also as we like to share out all of the great things our students do at Academy, Ms. Durazzano has created a special instagram page to share the many different activities happening in the STEAM classroom. The instagram page is @steamwithms.durazzano.
